The Bitter Fruit Review accepts all forms of art: poetry, fiction, creative non-fiction, artwork (digital & analogue), hybrid work, etc. Be creative & be authentic-- we love that!

To submit, please complete the form linked here. If you would like to submit in multiple categories, please submit the form twice.

Please do not submit more than five pieces per submission cycle & keep writing pieces under 2,000 words. 

​

We read all submissions blindly. Please do not include your name inside of the document.

​

Each piece should be sent in an individual document. For example, if you send three poems, we expect to review three documents.

 

Please title each document with the name of that piece.

​

We accept simultaneous submissions, but not previously published work. Please notify us if your work gets submitted elsewhere via email (bitterfruitreview@outlook.com).

The Bitter Fruit Review does not tolerate plagiarism, in any form. Please cite all relevant sources. 

​

The Bitter Fruit Review reserves the right to automatically reject work that is racist, homophobic, misogynistic, or directly targets any marginalized group of people for discrimination. 

​

We ask for First North American Rights to publish your writing. Following publication, all rights return to you, but please cite the Bitter Fruit Review as the place where the work first appeared.
